The FirstBlood is basically a dApp that allows users to bet on esports games. It is based on the Ethereum Virtual Machine and is powered by the 1ST coin tokens. The platform acts as a blockchain based escrow based on Ethereum smart contract. It keeps the user’s bet money in the chain until the game is over. There is also a ladder system, a player ques that allows one on one or five on five team games to be played.

Firstblood started its operation in early 2017 and its CEO is Joe Zhou and chief blockchain architect is Zack Coburn. The open beta was launched in July of 2017 and the platform was selected by the China General Administration of Sport. They are planning to introduce more games, more match formats, more payments, token availability and much more to the platform.

There are four core components of the platform namely ladder, tournaments, queue and the blockchain. The ladder is a weekly updated list of the leaderboard where everyone can see others progress and free tournaments allow anyone to compete and reach the top of the ladder and earn more rewards. The queue is an automated system that allows the user to join others either in one on one or with as many as you want.

FirstBlood tokens follow the same path as most other coins and can be bought using the marketplace, exchange, wallet trio.
